What is system scaffolding?

AFIXFAST is a system scaffolding solution developed by Afix Group. System scaffolding—also referred to in the industry as modular scaffolding, multidirectional scaffolding, rosette scaffolding or ringlock-type scaffolding—is based on standards with integrated rosettes that form standardized structural nodes. The AFIXFAST system comprises standards, ledgers, diagonals, scaffold decks and compatible components, enabling scalable and repeatable scaffold structures.

How does the rosette system work?

AFIXFAST uses a rosette–spigot connection with a wedge-locking mechanism. Ledgers and diagonals are fitted with forged spigot heads that engage into the rosette openings and are secured by a hammer-driven wedge, creating a self-locking, rigid and load-bearing connection. Fixed node spacing ensures consistent geometry and predictable load transfer from scaffold decks through the ledgers and standards to the foundation.

What is modular scaffolding? Modular scaffolding (also referred to as multidirectional or rosette scaffolding) consists of steel scaffolding systems assembled using a rosette–spigot connection with wedge locking. The scaffold can be configured modularly in both height and width, using various components such as ledgers, standards, diagonals, scaffold decks, base jacks, ladders, and other accessories.		Is scaffolding suitable for all types of construction work? Yes. Our scaffolding systems are versatile and adaptable to a wide range of construction activities. Whether for renovation, new-build projects, painting, maintenance or other works, they are designed to meet specific on-site requirements.

Why do modular scaffolds use a rosette connection? Scaffold components are connected using a secure rosette spigot head. The rosette (or ring) provides up to 8 connection points in 360°, allowing maximum assembly flexibility. The spigot head fits into the rosette and is secured with a steel wedge, creating a rigid, secure and load-bearing connection, ideally suited for temporary structures at height.		Are scaffolds inspected regularly? Yes. Production of system scaffolding are inspected on a regular basis to ensure safety and proper functionality. Inspection, maintenance and certification are carried out in accordance with strict procedures and applicable safety regulations.

What is AFIX FAST? AFIXFAST is a complete range of steel scaffolding components that can be assembled modularly to create safe working platforms at height. It is a system scaffolding range suitable for applications in construction, industry, infrastructure and event projects.		How quickly can my scaffolding be delivered? Thanks to our large stock availability and in-house transport services, we can often deliver scaffolding within 48 hours to your desired location. Alternatively, you may collect your reserved scaffolding directly from our warehouse.

Is AFIX FAST safe? Afix Group manufactures its own scaffolding components in Afix production facilities in the Netherlands and Turkey. These facilities comply with ISO and CE standards. All scaffolding components meet the European standards EN 12810 / EN 12811 and are inspected by independent inspection bodies such as NF, NASC, DIBt and TÜV.		Can I buy scaffolding or also rent it? Scaffolding is available for both sale, lease and rental at each branch. The minimum rental period is 4 weeks, although custom arrangements can be discussed depending on your specific needs.

How much load can a scaffold carry? The maximum load capacity of a scaffold depends on the system used and the specific configuration. Calculation notes are available for standard constructions, including the applicable load class. For non-standard structures, we recommend consulting our technical team. Are scaffolds suitable for outdoor use? AFIXFAST scaffolding systems are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Manufactured from weather-resistant materials, they perform reliably under outdoor conditions.		Can you calculate how much material I need? You can share your requirements by email or phone, and one of our engineering colleagues will prepare a material calculation and quotation based on the drawings and/or dimensions provided.

For which construction applications is scaffolding used? Façade scaffolding with steel or wooden decks is commonly used in residential and new-build construction. It provides a stable working platform for painting, carpentry, insulation, plastering, and similar works. Support scaffolds, roof scaffolds and renovation scaffolds are also used in a wide range of construction projects.		Which infrastructure applications use scaffolding? In private and civil infrastructure projects, scaffolding is used for construction, extension, inspection and maintenance of bridges and roads (abutments, spans, arch structures, viaducts, ramps), tunnel structures, port and railway infrastructure, and hydraulic engineering projects.

Which industrial applications use scaffolding?
